This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Safely transport the mobile medical clinic to designated locations within the community.
• Ensure the vehicle is adequately stocked, well-organized, and in good working condition; promptly report any mechanical or equipment issues.
• Set up the clinic and ensure that it is appropriately prepared to serve patients.
• Keep accurate records of the clinic's schedules, locations, and patient flow.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of clinic operations.
• Welcome patients, provide information regarding available services, and ensure their comfort during visits.
• Assist in collecting data to evaluate community health needs and enhance services.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper handling of medical supplies and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Follow health, safety, transportation, and mobile healthcare regulations.
• Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the mobile clinic.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in healthcare, community health, or a related field is advantageous.
• Prior experience in community health, patient outreach, or a related field is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bi-lingual ability is necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; capability to operate a large vehicle (mobile clinic).
• Ability to drive for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and assist in setting up mobile clinic equipment.
• Capable of effective communication with diverse populations and building rapport with community members.
• Basic understanding of health education, preventative care, and community resources.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 80 PTO hours available after the initial 60 days of service.
