• Support the management and enhancement of community backing for various community-oriented fundraising initiatives.
• Aid in crafting and executing a community fundraising strategy.
• In collaboration and confirmed compliance with the goals, standards, and requirements set by PETA:
o Develop thorough community/peer-to-peer fundraising plans that align with the organization's aims and objectives.
o Foster and expand peer-to-peer fundraising brands (including Fundraise for Animals, True Friends Memorials, PETA Pack, and Yard Sale Benefiting Animals).
o Assist in managing the ‘Jump Into Auction For Animals’ annual virtual silent auction.
o Organize online individual fundraising efforts on social media platforms such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, etc. Provide guidance and support to participants enrolled in these fundraising campaigns with help from PETA's Digital Ads department.
o Design and conceptualize viral and micro fundraising initiatives to ensure growth, optimal penetration of core market areas, and expansion opportunities.
o Develop personalized donor engagement and acknowledgment strategies.
o Ensure that all annual financial and acquisition objectives are met or surpassed.
o Assess and audit P2P programs, identify strengths and opportunities for growth, and report on progress, testing strategies, and program development.
o Create and distribute innovative marketing content to promote fundraising initiatives, boost community engagement, drive donor participation, and maximize reach and impact.
o Assist with personal-event fundraising, including managing revenue and expense budgets, volunteer development, volunteer engagement, and logistics on event day.
• Serve as a representative of the employer at workplace giving and other community events.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• A degree in a related field, nonprofit development, or at least 2 years of experience with community-based fundraising programs.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting, mobilizing, and managing volunteers to achieve objectives.
• A minimum of two years of nonprofit experience.
• Familiarity with peer-to-peer and auction software platforms.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
• Proven project management, strategic thinking, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience with online and social media communication.
• Ability to handle diverse assignments competently.
• Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proven capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Willingness and ability to travel.
