Community Engagement Specialist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee pertinent subreddits for conversations linked to our brand and products.

• Engage in Reddit discussions by offering genuinely helpful and informative replies that subtly showcase Study.com's value when relevant.

• Establish a reputable and trusted presence across relevant subreddits through steady, long-term engagement.

• Recognize trending topics, pain points, and inquiries within the online education sector to guide engagement opportunities.

• Monitor Study.com brand mentions on Reddit and address inquiries, reviews, and comments promptly and authentically.

• Report negative sentiments, misinformation, or competitor references to the team for escalation.

• Submit daily activity reports with links to all posts, comments, and interactions completed during each shift.

• Provide weekly performance summaries that highlight successes, challenges, and suggestions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience engaging on Reddit (i.e., a Reddit account that is at least 2 years old with a proven history) OR at least 2 years of community engagement experience on other platforms.

• Profound understanding of Reddit's ecosystem: subreddit cultures, community norms, posting etiquette, and what gets flagged or removed.

• Excellent writing skills with a natural, conversational tone; ability to create responses that prioritize helpfulness and informativeness, with promotion as a secondary focus.

• Comprehension of how community platform engagement enhances brand visibility and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

• Self-driven and able to sustain consistent engagement over the long term without direct oversight.
