This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Strategize, implement, and monitor initiatives that enhance the number of sustainable, impactful Code Clubs across Ireland.
• Establish, nurture, and sustain effective relationships with both new and existing stakeholders and partners to elevate awareness of Code Club and support its expansion in Ireland.
• Plan and execute national and regional events, training sessions, and activities to engage and assist the Irish Code Club community, both virtually and face-to-face.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the Foundation to share expertise and synchronize activities.
• Utilize data to guide decision-making processes and showcase improvements over time.
• Formulate plans and work overviews using a systematic approach aligned with the Foundation’s goals and key results, and provide updates on progress.
• Contribute to the development of content for newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms, and assist in online course moderation.
• Consult with new and existing club leaders to inform program development, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of Code Club processes.
• Design and implement activities to motivate Irish clubs to participate in other Raspberry Pi initiatives, such as Coolest Projects.
• Represent Code Club and the Raspberry Pi Foundation at pertinent events.
• Experience in developing and delivering educational programs in schools, preferably on a national level in Ireland, with a solid understanding of the educational landscape and school operations.
• Experience coordinating voluntary, community, or youth-oriented programs, ideally on a national scale in Ireland. Familiarity with Code Club or CoderDojo would be advantageous.
• Proven capability to forge and maintain successful partnerships and manage stakeholders, ideally at a national level.
• Experience in designing and delivering training sessions and events for educators and volunteers.
• A strong passion for empowering young individuals to become confident creators using technology, rather than mere consumers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to diverse audiences. Ability to produce clear, engaging content for reports, presentations, resources, blogs, marketing materials, and social media.
• Project management experience, including coordination among internal teams and external partners. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage processes effectively.
• Strong data and analytical skills, capable of utilizing them to enhance our efforts and for reporting purposes, ideally proficient in Salesforce, Pardot, and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of Garda Vetting and safeguarding protocols for young people in Ireland.
• Competent and self-assured in working from home, with the ability to remain organized, connected, and effective as part of a remote team.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently across Ireland, and to our office in Cambridge, UK, including overnight stays as necessary. A full clean driving license is required.
• Paid time off. In addition to public holidays, full-time employees in Ireland are entitled to 23 days of paid annual leave initially, increasing to 28 days after five years of service, plus 3 additional days of paid leave for the company-wide closure at the end of each year.
