This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Become a part of our expanding team as we enhance our regional claims specialist program to incorporate a metro-based role, broadening our reach and effectiveness.
• Assist workers in navigating local community resources and help them gain access to essential support to overcome obstacles.
• Proactively connect workers with community programs to support their recovery and facilitate their return-to-work process.
• Deliver in-person support during medical case conferences, ensuring that the needs of workers are recognized and integrated into the claims process.
• Build rapport with workers to comprehend their individual circumstances and requirements, fostering trust and effective communication.
• Collaborate strategically with claims teams to guarantee the smooth integration of community support within the claims process.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize a person-centered approach, concentrating on understanding and meeting the distinct needs of workers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local community programs, government-funded initiatives, and charitable supports available to assist workers in overcoming obstacles.
• Background in social work or community engagement roles, with a solid understanding of how local current events and activities influence employers and their workforce.
• Qualifications in Allied Health or Social Work are highly valued.
• High-level sensitivity and interpersonal skills for effective relationship development.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working independently to meet goals and achieve desired outcomes.
• A keen interest in utilizing emerging technologies to stay competitive in a swiftly evolving digital landscape.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle, as this role involves travel to locations in the Sydney area.
