Community Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Gather insights from the community, comprehend their needs, and identify potential challenges along with community-driven solutions.

• Foster strong connections with community members and leaders.

• Participate in community, governmental, school board, and environmental meetings.

• Support recruitment efforts for IMPACT programs.

• Collect and communicate community feedback.

• Inform the community about available opportunities and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.

• A valid Ohio Driver License and the ability to meet agency insurability criteria.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Prior experience in social work, human services, non-profit sectors, or community engagement is preferred.

• Preference will be given to residents of one of Columbus’ Opportunity Neighborhoods.
