This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and uphold comprehensive user manuals, technical documentation, and FAQs for digital health solutions.
• Prepare, format, and revise monthly reports, briefing presentations, and informational materials tailored for program and executive stakeholders.
• Review and ensure the quality of deliverables in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with style guidelines.
• Create and enhance strategic communication materials such as brochures, toolkits, flyers, and manuals.
• Assist in drafting evaluation reports, project completion summaries, and research overviews, integrating graphics and data as necessary.
• Aid in drafting and formatting language for VA and Veterans Health Administration policies, directives, and guidance documents.
• Convert complex technical and clinical information into clear, user-friendly content for Veterans, clinicians, and VA leadership.
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to collect source material and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, editing, or communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, technical writing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in producing user manuals, technical documentation, reports, and briefing materials.
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to distill complex or technical information into clear, audience-appropriate content.
• Experience in supporting complex projects and transformation initiatives within the federal government.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and time management abilities.
• Competence in organizing, prioritizing, and collaborating effectively with others.
• Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and solutions logically in both written and spoken formats.
• Capacity to remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment and quickly comprehend complex issues.
• Ability to accept client feedback and implement changes efficiently and effectively.
• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Remote work is expected.
• Occasional travel for client engagements may be necessary.
