This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-focused work efforts.
• Collaborate with DPH’s Communications Office and the Commissioner’s Office to establish and execute a comprehensive online presence for OHSP.
• Represent OHSP and HWC at various events, including recruitment drives, conferences, and professional association gatherings.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of OHSP distribution lists categorized by topic area and project.
• Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to guarantee timely delivery, budget adherence, high quality standards, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Compile project plans and team assignments, oversee daily work efforts, identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and appropriately escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues.
• Monitor key project milestones and modify project plans and/or resources to fulfill stakeholder requirements.
• Facilitate communication across all enterprise areas that affect the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work efforts.
• Manage one or more cross-functional projects of varying degrees of complexity.
• Maintain collegial and productive relationships with colleagues and partners.
• Effectively communicate policies and procedures to audiences without technical backgrounds.
• A bachelor's degree in public health or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of public health and the healthcare delivery system.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proven skills and experience in project management, cultural competence, health equity, creative problem-solving, and innovation.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies and tools, as well as resource management practices.
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Constant Contact and Adobe Express is advantageous.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, coupled with business acumen to achieve project goals and strategic objectives.
