Communications Field Supervisor – Telecom and Satellite, Travel Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise communications technicians across various job sites.

• Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communication systems.

• Dispatch technicians and organize daily field operations.

• Provide hands-on assistance for rig-ups, rig-downs, and system relocations.

• Diagnose issues with satellite, LTE, networking, and camera systems.

• Assist customers with their technical problems and service requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Housing and Power Generation.

• Manage equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships.

• Support the development and implementation of new technologies.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

• Monitor technician hours, performance, and operational reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in communications, telecom, or networking roles.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of networking, LTE, or satellite systems is essential.

• Proficiency in cable installation and termination (RJ-45, coaxial).

• Ability to troubleshoot field connectivity systems.

• Experience with cameras or monitoring systems is a plus.

• Preferred technical certifications such as Network+ or equivalent.

• Background in telecom, electronics, or related IT fields.
