This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develops vendor selection strategies, oversees contract management, and continuously monitors to enhance collaboration and minimize risks.
• Drafts, initiates, manages, and successfully concludes RFPs for all new suppliers or services.
• Evaluates and consolidates existing suppliers within a designated commodity, ensuring inactive suppliers are deactivated, redundancies eliminated, and seeks opportunities to consolidate suppliers offering similar goods or services.
• Ensures all supplier contracts are uploaded to the database with essential terms recorded for reporting purposes.
• Leads, negotiates, and finalizes all new and renewal supplier agreements.
• Monitors all contract negotiations and archives generated contracts in the designated database.
• Acts as an internal and external escalation point for all inquiries and issues related to suppliers.
• Assesses supplier and vendor performance against established cost savings and cost avoidance targets.
• Observes, tracks, and responds to critical market forecasts and changes in conditions.
• Conducts analyses and reporting on category spending, supplier stratification, and research on supply markets and category industries.
• Builds and nurtures relationships with key business executives, playing a vital role in supporting the implementation of business strategies through advanced procurement initiatives and team alignment.
• Facilitates the entire sourcing process and collaborates closely with clients to select and award contracts to suppliers.
• Exhibits a strategic business perspective, organizational awareness, presents an executive-level demeanor, and manages multiple stakeholder interests concurrently.
• Keeps informed about industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may influence commodity pricing.
• Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as IIBA, and/or CPM, CIPS, or CPSM are preferred.
• Eight (8) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Familiarity with P2P platforms and Power BI is preferred.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the capability to present complex topics succinctly to varied audiences.
• Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Office products, with a strong foundation in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and storytelling skills when working with data.
