This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and provide support for BLS/BLAS compensation and billing procedures.
• Oversee both recurring and one-time compensation adjustments, including tracking, inputting, reconciling, and supervising.
• Conduct and manage monthly/quarterly compensation calculations and pre-run tasks for the pay cycle.
• Address failed payment issues and handle void/reissue transactions.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve inquiries related to compensation, along with any discrepancies, anomalies, and correction requests.
• Carry out audits and data validation tasks while supporting internal, external, and ad hoc audit requests.
• Identify gaps in compensation processes and data integrity, and create tools, controls, and solutions accordingly.
• Assist in Compensation Department initiatives and collaborate on cross-functional projects involving stakeholders, regulators, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot system issues related to compensation involving BLS, BLAS, and CNO systems.
• Provide backup support for the department as needed.
• Help maintain the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of compensation and billing operations.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED in general studies.
• Four years of professional experience with a Broker Dealer and/or Registered Investment Advisor.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Experience with compensation, financial, and advisory systems such as Xtiva/PureFacts, Envestnet, NetX360, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in researching discrepancies, performing root-cause analysis, resolving complex compensation issues, and suggesting process improvements.
• Familiarity with audits, reconciliations, data validation, quality control, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to independently handle multiple priorities, recurring deadlines, ad hoc requests, and project deliverables.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work Central or Eastern Time hours.
• All tasks must be performed within the United States.
