Commissioning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing the installation and initiation of equipment at job sites.

• Collaborating closely with Project Managers at CMCo and client locations.

• Involves conducting site inspections, generating reports, interfacing with contractors, and initiating equipment startup.

• Providing guidance to CMCo technicians while on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in construction management.

• Prior experience in managing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of the installation processes for mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Ability to manage multiple startup sites simultaneously.

• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and layout drawings.

• Capable of understanding and addressing questions related to submittals and specifications.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while coordinating multiple competing tasks and demands.

• Detail-oriented.

• Must be able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders such as project managers, contractors, engineers, and end users.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Must maintain an excellent driving record.

• Willingness to travel and work hours as needed to satisfy customer requirements.

• Proven skills and experience in mediation and negotiation.
