This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and nurture a team of Commercial Account Executives throughout the EMEA region.
• Take ownership of the commercial segment's revenue targets for the area — establish goals, oversee the pipeline, and enhance forecast accuracy.
• Mentor representatives on deal strategy, discovery, technical positioning, negotiation, and closing through regular one-on-ones, deal reviews, and call shadowing.
• Develop and refine a scalable sales process and playbook designed for the commercial/mid-market buyer.
• Collaborate with Sales Development to ensure robust coverage of the top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Work alongside Solutions Engineering to ensure that technical validation effectively advances deals.
• Partner with Marketing to coordinate regional campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives.
• Accurately report on team performance, pipeline status, and forecasts to sales leadership.
• Act as the representative voice of the commercial segment in cross-functional planning (including product feedback, packaging, and pricing).
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Over 5 years of B2B software/SaaS sales experience, including more than 2 years in a sales management or team leadership position.
• A demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales quotas, both as an individual contributor and as a manager.
• Preferred experience in selling technical products (infrastructure, data platforms, developer tools, open source, or similar).
• Background in managing a commercial or mid-market segment team, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong coaching abilities — capable of diving into the specifics of a deal without taking control.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and constructing processes rather than merely adhering to them.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Force Management, or similar sales methodologies is advantageous.
• Experience selling across various EMEA markets and cultures; multilingual abilities (e.g., proficiency in additional European languages) are a plus.
• Exceptional communication, forecasting, and CRM management skills (Salesforce).
• Residing in EMEA with the capacity to travel occasionally for team meetings, customer engagements, and company events.
• A team culture founded on trust, transparency, communication, and kindness.
• Opportunities for professional development.
