Commercial Roofing Expert – Drone Imagery, AI Quality Review

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze drone-captured images of commercial roofs and evaluate the accuracy of AI-generated results.

• Detect and rectify any inaccuracies or incomplete outputs from AI by utilizing expertise in commercial roofing.

• Label and annotate roofing imagery in accordance with established project guidelines.

• Use professional judgment to identify pertinent roofing features, conditions, and potential issues visible in the imagery.

• Conduct quality reviews to ensure that labeled data is accurate and consistent.

• Offer expert insights on ambiguous or complex roofing scenarios.

• Assist in curating a high-quality dataset aimed at enhancing AI model performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial roof inspection, quality assurance/quality control in roofing, roof observation, or commercial roofing construction.

• Strong practical understanding of commercial roofing systems, installation techniques, and quality standards.

• Capability to evaluate roofing conditions and workmanship based on visual information while consistently applying professional judgment.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle discrepancies or quality concerns.

• Proficient in utilizing digital tools and reviewing images on a computer.

• Ability to adhere to detailed review and labeling guidelines while leveraging subject matter expertise.

• Must possess a recognized professional roofing certification, such as Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), National Certified Roof Inspector (NCRI), NRCA PROCertified Roofing Foreman, or another relevant certification in roofing inspection, consulting, or quality assurance.

• Prior experience with reviewing drone/aerial roof imagery is preferred.

• Must reside in the United States.
