This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and manage the complete proposal process for NAM opportunities, from initial intake to final submission.
• Collaborate with Sales, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Delivery teams to establish scope, confirm feasibility, and create RFQs, RFPs, quotations, and Statements of Work.
• Organize and coordinate proposal inputs, including methodology, assumptions, pricing support, and necessary documentation.
• Oversee timelines, dependencies, risks, and internal review cycles.
• Ensure precise maintenance of opportunity, proposal, and project data within CRM and relevant systems.
• Guarantee document control, version management, and readiness for audits.
• Monitor proposal activities, deadlines, approvals, and status updates.
• Update and refine proposal templates, content libraries, boilerplate texts, and standardized language.
• Utilize AI and other tools to enhance the efficiency of proposal development.
• Assist with win/loss reviews and integrate lessons learned.
• Foster the adoption of proposal tools, standardized processes, and best practices.
• Support additional commercial, operational, and business priorities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power Systems), Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in proposals, tendering, project coordination, or commercial operations.
• Proven experience in supporting RFQs, RFPs, Statements of Work, and pricing structures.
• Capable of translating technical concepts into clear and concise business language.
• Proficient in CRM and ERP systems as well as Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in managing stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
• Strong focus on detail and a quality-first approach.
• High level of ownership and ability to function in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Skilled at working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective at collaborating within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred experience in developing techno-commercial proposals for consulting organizations, especially within the power sector.
• Background in energy, engineering, industrial, consulting, or technical services environments is advantageous.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a proactive approach to workflow improvement.
