Commercial Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a substantial caseload of commercial litigation cases from initiation to conclusion.

• Achieve or surpass a yearly target of 1,800 billable hours.

• Work closely with a Supervising Partner, implementing case strategies and following clear directives.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, and detailed legal briefs.

• Conduct discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions.

• Represent clients during hearings, mediations, and potentially at trial.

• Engage actively in mentorship and development opportunities aimed at a long-term Partner trajectory.

• Optional but encouraged: Generate new business and client matters to take advantage of the firm’s origination commission structure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of focused experience in commercial litigation practice.

• Active and in good standing to practice law in New York and/or Texas.

• A proven history of billing no less than 1,800 hours annually.

• Highly driven by performance-based compensation, self-sufficient, and enthusiastic about direct mentorship and career advancement.
