This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish coverage standards and market strategies for each business class within your product portfolio.
• Act as the ultimate technical authority for intricate risk placements, carrier selection, and coverage inquiries throughout the retail channel.
• Detect coverage deficiencies and completion requirements within our customer base and devise strategies to resolve them.
• Examine product documentation, agent-facing materials, and marketing collateral for regulatory compliance and E&O exposure prior to distribution.
• Track alterations in carrier guidelines and market norms affecting your product line, ensuring distribution practices remain compliant.
• Represent the internal compliance voice for your product family during cross-functional discussions.
• Be the primary on-demand technical resource for the agent channel—the go-to person for agents when faced with unfamiliar risks or complex placements.
• Create training programs, proficiency standards, and reference tools that enhance agent performance across your product family.
• Develop the knowledge frameworks that our AI and technology team will utilize to build scalable agent support tools.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to produce accurate and engaging product content and campaign strategies for each business class in your portfolio.
• Work alongside program managers on new product launches, capacity negotiations, and carrier relationship management within your product family.
• Act as the insurance authority in cross-functional planning discussions, ensuring technical accuracy across product development, marketing, and distribution.
• Collaborate directly with our AI and automation team to convert your expertise into scalable technological solutions, workflow automations, intelligent lead routing, and agent support tools.
• Serve as the source of technical knowledge that our systems team builds upon, ensuring the intelligence we encode is accurate and commercially viable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.
• Over 7 years of experience in P&C insurance with substantial knowledge across commercial lines – GL, PL, Property, and related sectors.
• Strongly preferred background in MGA, carrier, wholesale brokerage, or E&S underwriting.
• Proven ability to assess unfamiliar risks and independently cultivate subject matter expertise—proactively seeking solutions.
• Solid understanding of compliance issues, regulatory requirements, coverage sufficiency standards, and E&O risks.
• Experience in developing others—formally through training programs or informally as the go-to person for colleagues with complex inquiries.
• Capable of clearly conveying intricate insurance concepts to marketing, technology, and operations teams while maintaining technical accuracy.
• Comfortable working across departments in a dynamic, build-from-scratch environment.
• A genuine interest in the convergence of insurance expertise and technology.
• Preferred designations include CIC, CPCU, AU, AINS, or similar credentials.
