Commercial Liability Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Utilizes independent discretion and judgment in managing claims that involve intricate liability matters.

• Conducts thorough investigations, assesses and provides recommendations regarding coverage and liability.

• Manages claims that involve complicated liability, damages, or coverage issues.

• Engages in negotiations with all involved parties or their representatives within the established authority.

• Maintains documentation of the file and submits necessary reports.

• Recognizes subrogation opportunities and takes appropriate actions.

• Completes all required training.

• Offers support for property claims during periods of high volume.

• Provides training and mentorship to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of five years of experience in casualty claims adjusting or equivalent experience in the medical or legal fields is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in liability coverages, laws, and injuries are essential.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Completion of the Associate in Claims (AIC) program is preferred.
