
Commercial HVAC Journeyman Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling units.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, such as thermostatic controls and liquid lines.
• Service refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems, adjusting internal control systems as necessary.
• Assemble and install metal ductwork, assisting in the planning and design of HVAC systems.
• Ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations by keeping detailed maintenance records.
• Identify and address risks to uphold a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with management to promote safety and operational standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.
• Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.
• High School Diploma or GED is essential.
• Must possess and maintain a valid and current Driver’s License, ensuring insurability by the company’s insurance provider.
• Additional experience and attributes that would be advantageous in this position include: Idaho Journeyman’s licenses, OSHA 30 certification, a basic understanding of building automation controls, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus.
