Commercial Escrow Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Continuously expand and support the business by delivering exceptional customer service.

• Execute both simple and complex commercial real estate escrow transactions by identifying requirements and serving as a neutral intermediary between buyers, sellers, and lenders.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Underwriting to assess and mitigate potential risks for the company.

• Ensure that all funds are accurately accounted for and disbursed in line with the contract terms.

• Finalize closings by reviewing, recording, and filing documents, including the preparation and distribution of final closing statements and titles, while ensuring compliance with delivery timelines.

• Generate regular reports on the status of the escrow account and share these updates with all parties involved in the transaction.

• Draft legal documents necessary for the completion of the sale.

• Adhere to regulatory requirements by enforcing compliance with applicable standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in escrow, specifically as an Escrow Officer, preferably within the commercial sector.

• A strong commitment to assisting customers while upholding a professional and positive demeanor.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external clients; effectively employs various communication methods to meet customer expectations and foster relationships.

• Strong problem-solving abilities combined with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to navigate both internal and external resources to address issues.

• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on state regulations.

• Proficient in working with technology and proprietary systems; adapts swiftly to new software applications and technologies.

• Enjoys collaborating within a team to exceed customer expectations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
