Commercial Contracting Manager – Contract Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leading and overseeing commercial contracting operations.

• Coordinating the execution of clinical trial contracts and trade agreements.

• Engaging with administrators from transplant programs, hospital contracting teams, as well as finance and legal stakeholders.

• Managing a substantial volume of active agreements with transplant centers.

• Facilitating timely contract execution through proactive follow-ups, addressing comments, and eliminating bottlenecks.

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and to resolve any issues.

• Monitoring contract status, maintaining necessary documentation, and offering visibility into the pipeline and progress.

• Ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• 3–7 years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical contracting, particularly in transplant, cell therapy (e.g., CAR-T), or hospital-based agreements.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage contract redlining, negotiation cycles, and execution towards near-final agreements.

• Strong comprehension of hospital contracting procedures and stakeholder dynamics.

• Preferred experience working directly with community, private, and academic transplant centers.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple contracts concurrently.

• Ability to function with a high degree of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup setting.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
