Commercial Contracting Manager – Contract Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and directing all activities related to commercial contracting.

• Coordinating the execution of clinical trial contracts and managing trade agreement implementation.

• Engaging with administrators of transplant programs, hospital contracting teams, finance, and legal stakeholders.

• Managing a substantial volume of active agreements with transplant centers.

• Facilitating timely contract execution by proactively following up, addressing comments, and eliminating bottlenecks.

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and to troubleshoot issues.

• Monitoring contract status, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and providing visibility into progress and pipeline.

• Ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• 3–7 years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical contracting, particularly within transplant, cell therapy (e.g., CAR-T), or hospital-based agreements.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage contract redlining, negotiation cycles, and execution to near-final agreements.

• Strong understanding of hospital contracting processes and the dynamics of stakeholder interactions.

• Experience working directly with community, private, and academic transplant centers is preferred.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• High attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

• Ability to function with a high degree of organization and exceptional time management in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
