This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Prepare comprehensive quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction initiatives.
β’ Create competitive bids and proposals for clients.
β’ Examine drawings, specifications, and project documents to ascertain project scope and pricing needs.
β’ Evaluate costs associated with labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
β’ Detect potential risks, exclusions, and scope discrepancies throughout the estimating process.
β’ Ensure precision and consistency across all estimates and bid submissions.
β’ Operate within the client's established systems and workflows to facilitate project delivery.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams regarding project needs and bidding strategies.
β’ Handle multiple estimates concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
β’ Contribute to the company's overarching preconstruction and business development initiatives.
β’ At least 3 years of specialized experience in construction estimating.
β’ A degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction background is preferred.
β’ Experience in estimating construction projects based in the U.S.
β’ Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and bidding documents.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
β’ Remarkable attention to detail and organizational abilities.
β’ Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week) and a commitment to working exclusively with the client.
β’ Willingness to work during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
