This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Play a critical role in the success of the company by guiding your supervisors in the investigation of coverage, assessment of liability, damages, and management of injury claims.
• Supervise the management of serious injuries and litigation matters.
• Take ownership of the outcomes in all situations.
• Identify methods to navigate a constantly changing environment.
• Empower individuals and teams to excel in their performance.
• Develop and enhance partnerships across various organizational divisions.
• Make informed, data-driven decisions that are in alignment with our strategic objectives.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing supervisors who oversee a team of Commercial Casualty Claims handlers.
• Experience in commercial trucking is preferred, or in commercial auto.
• Ability to foster strong engagement and support among teams operating across multiple locations, including fully remote associates.
• Capable of directing complex coverage and liability investigations.
• Must obtain and maintain the necessary licenses issued by state insurance departments.
• Ability to learn and apply extensive technical and procedural information.
• Must effectively engage with teams across various locations, including remote associates.
• Competence in following intricate instructions, resolving conflicts, or facilitating conflict resolution, along with strong organizational and priority-setting capabilities.
• Must communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally via telephone, video conferencing, and instant messaging platforms.
• Ability to manage challenging conversations and high-pressure situations.
• Duties must be performed at a stationary workstation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Preferred: Experience managing claims across multiple states.
