Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage routine non-complex to moderately complex non-injury Commercial and Specialty claims.

• Responsible for initiating, investigating, assessing, and resolving auto claims while ensuring adherence to Department of Insurance and other regulatory requirements.

• Adjust more complex liability claims, including property damage claims and total losses.

• Verify coverage on policies that feature standard commercial symbols and/or specialty exposures.

• Communicate with insureds, claimants, and other relevant parties to confirm loss details and applicable policy coverage.

• Explain the claims process, subsequent steps, and outcomes to all parties involved.

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and settle first- and third-party auto/property damage claims from initiation to resolution.

• Handle inbound calls from customers and maintain a record of pending claims.

• Coordinate and supervise the claims process, ensuring customers are kept informed.

• Ensure compliance with specific state regulations and/or policy provisions, including necessary file documentation and proper correspondence.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or at least one year of customer service experience in a virtual setting utilizing internet, phone, and chat functionalities.

• Must possess an Adjuster license for all relevant states or secure the necessary license(s) within 90 days after completing the provided licensing training.

• Basic math skills and moderate computer proficiency with the ability to use various software applications.

• Must fulfill work-from-home criteria, including internet speed and designated workspace.

• Ability to type at a speed of 30 words per minute.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Two or more years of customer service experience are preferred.

• Previous experience in insurance claims is also preferred.

• Bilingual skills are a plus!
