Commercial Area Manager – France, Spain – Pool Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Spearhead and promote growth within the Pool Treatment and Maintenance division (Pool Solutions)

• Broaden commercial reach across southwestern France and northwestern Spain

• Identify new prospects and capture additional market share

• Oversee and maintain relationships with a network of distributors, specialist pool retailers, and mass-market distribution channels

• Create and implement a tailored commercial action plan specific to the sector

• Foster B2B relationships and negotiate with store managers of major retail chains

• Work in partnership with distributors’ sales teams, especially in Spain, and carry out joint customer visits

• Organize and deliver annual safety and TRC compliance training at sales locations

• Report any EHS incidents within a 12-hour timeframe

• Prepare sales forecasts and devise optimized travel routes

• Utilize CRM tools to monitor interactions and sales activities

• Represent Solenis at trade shows, industry gatherings, and important customer meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven field sales experience, including management of a large geographic area

• Background in the pool industry or with distribution networks, specialist retailers, and B2C/B2B channels is preferred

• French: native or fluent proficiency (mandatory)

• English: fluent professional proficiency (mandatory), capable of conducting interviews and working in English daily

• Spanish: conversational to fluent proficiency preferred

• Must live within the designated territory, ideally in southwestern France or northwestern Spain

• Results-driven mindset with a strong emphasis on new account development

• Exceptional negotiation skills and strategic foresight

• Self-starter with excellent collaborative abilities

• Valid driver's license required

• Willingness to travel frequently by road

• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods

• Capability to manage displays or equipment and lift weights of up to 25 kg
