This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• The Service Technician is tasked with responding to customer work orders as directed by their service manager.
• This role involves traveling to customer sites to diagnose and address issues as necessary.
• The technician will be provided with a van, a company fuel card, a credit card, a phone, and an iPad.
• All work orders are sent electronically through the phone/iPad the day before.
• The technician is expected to promptly review these work orders to stay informed about their schedule for the following day.
• The Service Technician is required to take their vehicle home each night.
• The company vehicle is designated for work purposes ONLY, unless prior approval is obtained from the T&J Service Manager.
• All vehicles are equipped with GPS monitoring not only for location tracking but also to ensure safe driving practices.
• The Service Technician will communicate with their manager based in Albany via phone.
• The service manager is always available to support the technician with any questions or concerns.
• The Service Technician must adhere to all company policies and procedures, both internally and when interacting with external parties.
• A clean driving record is mandatory.
• Candidates should be prepared to drive up to 2 hours (one way) for service calls.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities are essential, as the supervisor will be remote from the main office.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service experience are essential.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.
• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and replacing equipment such as TurboChef, Merry Chef, Bunn, Mastrena, Hatco, Clover Vertica, Franke, or similar is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Facility Services industry is advantageous.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• A drug test and background check must be successfully passed before commencing work.
