Commercial Analyst II – New Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Supplier Portfolio Management: Ensure optimal performance, competitiveness, and effective commercial negotiations with the brands you oversee.

• Commercial Planning and Execution: Develop, negotiate, and track Joint Business Plans (JBPs), commercial agreements, rebates, and incentives for events and activations.

• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory turnover and forecasts for product launches and line items, creating efficient strategies for product flow and negotiating solutions for overstock.

• Visual Merchandising and Assortment: Define and uphold the product portfolio (mix by channel), coordinate planograms, and closely supervise in-store execution with a focus on testers and activations.

• Prospecting and Innovation: Proactively identify new brands, innovations, and consumer trends for portfolio inclusion.

• Results Analysis: Create reports, presentations, and analyses of financial and commercial indicators (sales, margin, inventory, and cost) to aid in decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or other business-related disciplines.

• Commercial Experience: Proven experience in retail commercial roles, managing complex negotiations (such as rebates, margins, paid promotional space, etc.).

• Advanced Analytical Profile: Proficient in advanced Excel and knowledgeable about Google tools (Sheets, Slides, etc.).

• Soft Skills: Must be execution-oriented, proactive, agile, resilient, and collaborative.

• Availability to Travel: Must be willing to travel occasionally for planning, team meetings, and supplier negotiations.

• Language: Fluency in English is considered an advantage.
