Commercial Accounts Broker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assisting and efficiently onboarding new clients.

• Diligently examining all incoming submissions and policy information for precision while handling intricate policy modifications.

• Overseeing the current book of business by issuing certificates and processing endorsements for large and complex accounts.

• Recognizing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing book of business to ensure a "Circle of Protection."

• Executing remarkets to guarantee clients consistently have the most competitive and comprehensive coverage available.

• Acting as the main point of contact for mid-term evaluations and year-round account upkeep.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a valid broker license for your province and have over 1 year of experience in P&C. Previous experience in commercial broking is highly preferred.

• CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is advantageous.

• You excel at simplifying complex insurance concepts into straightforward, clear language that clients can easily understand.

• Proven capability to utilize a BMS or other digital tools to enhance your workflows and manage a high volume of client data.

• You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, underwriting teams, and partners to achieve common objectives and provide seamless service.

• You tackle challenges with determination and flexibility, consistently meeting established targets and discovering innovative solutions.

• Your strong prioritization skills and demonstrated adaptability allow you to manage a varied portfolio of clients and tasks simultaneously.

• You maintain keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all processes related to policy and account management.
