This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify sources for colocation and powered land capacity.
• Conduct outreach to smaller and mid-tier data center operators, developers, and neo-clouds.
• Assess opportunities based on key factors: power quota, colocation space, capital readiness, zoning and regulatory status, pricing, and timeline.
• Assist operators in overcoming scalability obstacles, such as power, space, or capital constraints. You'll either help them directly or connect them with suitable partners.
• Cultivate and maintain supplier relationships.
• Manage ongoing communication with the supplier base, meeting weekly or biweekly depending on the account.
• Monitor capacity as it becomes available, plan accordingly, and secure it for Shadeform's clients.
• Be the primary contact for operators when they have capacity to transfer or require assistance in expanding it.
• Provide support for demand as needed.
• Collaborate with the supply lead and sales team on demand-side discussions when your expertise or relationships can facilitate a deal.
• Minimum of 3 years (5+ preferred) in business development, site selection, supply, capacity, or account management within data centers, colocation, powered land, or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven history of establishing and nurturing long-term commercial relationships, rather than engaging in one-off transactions.
• Experience in assessing capacity or deals regarding power, colocation space, capital readiness, zoning and regulatory aspects, pricing, and timelines.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving role where you will develop processes as you advance.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with suppliers and visit sites.
• Direct experience in the colocation and/or powered land sector is a plus.
• Background in project finance or project development related to colocation facilities, data centers, or GPU cluster deployments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of power generation, transmission, or utility infrastructure is beneficial.
• Experience with a neo-cloud, data center developer or operator, hardware OEM (server, storage, or networking), energy or power developer, utility infrastructure firm, or a commercial real estate data center and industrial team is a plus.
• An established network of operators, developers, or capacity partners is an asset.
• Competitive base salary, performance-driven variable compensation, and significant equity in a profitable, rapidly growing company.
• A remote-first team that operates across the US and EU.
• The opportunity to create a new function and take ownership of one of the most strategic segments of our business as it expands.
• Extensive health benefits and flexible time off.
