• Oversee the collections process for customer accounts, which includes proactive engagement regarding overdue balances and resolving payment-related issues.
• Keep track of aging reports and strive to minimize outstanding accounts receivable through prompt follow-ups and thorough account analysis.
• Leverage HighRadius and internal systems to manage collections efforts, customer correspondence, payment tracking, disputes, and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Billing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to address customer issues and rectify billing discrepancies.
• Examine and reconcile customer accounts, including addressing unapplied payments, credits, disputes, and short payments.
• Assist in reducing bad debt by identifying and appropriately escalating high-risk accounts.
• Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions, payment commitments, and updates on account statuses.
• Generate and distribute aging analysis, collections reports, bad debt summaries, and account status updates to leadership as required.
• Help with month-end activities and reporting related to collections and accounts receivable.
• Maintain professional, customer-oriented communication while facilitating timely payment resolutions.
• Appropriately escalate priority accounts, bankruptcy risks, legal issues, or collection challenges to leadership.
• Required experience in full-cycle collections and accounts receivable.
• Preferred experience with HighRadius, NetSuite, Salesforce, or other ERP/collections systems.
• Strong knowledge of aging reports, bad debt management, cash application, account reconciliation, and best practices in collections.
• Ability to analyze customer accounts and pinpoint the root causes of delinquency or payment discrepancies.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting, with the capability to analyze large financial data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging customer conversations professionally.
• Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and possess strong follow-through capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building across departments.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Consistently delivers results with integrity, professionalism, accountability, and sound judgment.
• Maintains stable performance under pressure while managing sensitive customer and financial situations with tact and professionalism.
