Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reduce the age of accounts receivables and minimize DSO within a designated portfolio.

• Conduct daily business-to-business collection outreach initiatives.

• Interact with clients from various U.S. industries to ensure timely payments.

• Keep comprehensive records of outreach activities, results, and follow-up actions.

• Work in conjunction with the billing team and Financial Analysts to address issues and accelerate payments.

• Raise collections issues to management when needed.

• Identify, record, and apply best practices and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of pertinent experience in billing, collections, or related areas.

• Experience in project or service-based organizations (preferred).

• Knowledge of large ERP or accounting systems (preferred).

• Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and excel in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to transactional precision.

• A strong sense of urgency with the capability to independently prioritize conflicting deadlines.

• Self-driven and able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Excel.
