Collections Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of overdue and delinquent accounts

• Conduct outbound calls and send emails to follow up on pending payments

• Address customer objections and delays in payment with professionalism

• Negotiate payment plans and consistently follow up on payment commitments

• Keep precise records and outline next steps

• Strive to meet daily and weekly collection targets and KPIs

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated collections position, including experience with U.S. and international customer accounts

• Preference for candidates with experience managing U.S. customer accounts

• Proficient in spoken and written English

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls

• A clear, direct, and concise communicator

• Firm, persistent, and maintains professionalism

• Strong ability to follow through and demonstrate accountability

• Comfortable working towards targets and performance metrics

• Collections experience should include actively managing overdue accounts, negotiating payment plans, and overseeing a delinquent portfolio

• Primary experience should not be exclusively in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit Analysis, Credit Control, Accounting, clerical work, reconciliation, or data-entry tasks
