Collections Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer accounts to detect outstanding invoices.

• Proactively reach out to clients to promote timely payment.

• Engage with clients regarding their overdue accounts and invoices.

• Examine historical data for each unpaid invoice and collaborate closely with the billing team to facilitate their resolution.

• Address inquiries related to billing and customer payments.

• Quickly identify and resolve collection issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of account status and collection efforts for all unpaid invoices and client accounts.

• Analyze aging reports concerning invoicing activities and meet monthly objectives.

• Provide weekly reports on collection activities and the status of accounts receivable.

• Collaborate with the billing team to monitor all billing transactions and assist with the team’s needs when necessary.

• Engage in process improvement projects to enhance collection efficiencies.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Collections Analyst.

• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in collections and billing procedures.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.

• Proficient in Salesforce Billing, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.

• Understanding of accounting principles, collection, and billing regulations.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working towards targets.
