Collections Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Collect overdue accounts across various business lines.

• Rectify billing discrepancies while ensuring the integrity of client accounts in relevant systems.

• Manage account cleansing tasks, including payment processing and reconciliation, updates to purchase orders and cost centers, billing consolidations, invoice adjustments, inventory revisions, and generating price quotes.

• Collaborate with invoicing, account maintenance, collections, and sales support teams.

• Address client inquiries and fulfill requests.

• Maintain communication and working relationships across Pitney Bowes business units.

• Organize and manage daily tasks to meet required timeframes.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in client service.

• Previous experience in collections, account management, and/or billing reconciliation is preferred.

• Demonstrated time management abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently while prioritizing and scheduling daily tasks within a team setting.

• Strong organizational capabilities; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Suitable work-from-home environment for client-facing interactions.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST / 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST.

• Candidates must reside in the EST or CST time zones; residents of PST and MST are not eligible.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; the employer does not sponsor employment visas.

• Credit review will be part of the background screening process.
