Collaborative MD, Psychiatry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage with your provider team, either individually or in groups of up to 4 Nurse Practitioners, through teleconferences 1-2 times monthly. This position will assist in addressing general clinical concerns and other elements of a standard collaborative relationship.

• May assess and respond to clinical inquiries and escalations.

• Perform chart reviews promptly.

• Serve as the collaborating physician, supervising care delivered by Nurse Practitioners.

• Carry out responsibilities specified in collaborative practice physician agreements, which include tele-meetings, case evaluations, and prescription consultations.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to the clinicians you supervise.

• Provide constructive feedback regarding clinician performance.

• WellPsyche offers clinical leads and supervising MDs who are accessible daily and typically manage any issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.

• You have a genuine concern for your patients and their overall well-being.

• You uphold integrity in all professional interactions.

• You possess a strong passion for mental health.

• You have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Psychiatrist, with a preference for 2 years in the mental health field.

• You have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.

• You are experienced in both medication management and therapy.

• You are Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry in the state of California.

• You hold valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

• You have clinical and administrative supervisory experience.

• You can maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• You have experience in telehealth and telemedicine.
