This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatric patients utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Conduct chart evaluations and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances, where legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during specified working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Guide clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible prescribing procedures.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
• MD or DO degree in psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedicated to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Capable of reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Willing to accept Legion's monthly supervisory compensation rates.
