
Collaborating Psychiatrist – Supervising Physician, MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to treat psychiatry patients with low to medium acuity using evidence-based methodologies.
• Conduct chart evaluations and offer timely advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians and uphold Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• Deliver responsive clinical guidance and make independent prescribing decisions when legally allowed and clinically appropriate.
• Possess an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Hold an MD or DO degree.
• Exhibit strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Show commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Must be capable of reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Establish your own schedule for an optimal work-life balance.

• Receive substantial administrative support, including scheduling, insurance verification, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
