This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Perform chart reviews and offer prompt recommendations on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permissible and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as mandated by relevant state regulations.
• Mentor healthcare providers and uphold Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO credential as a physician.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with delivering care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Current active and unrestricted physician license in a U.S. state or jurisdiction.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Comfort in reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and applicable legislation.
• Willingness to accept Legion’s monthly supervisory compensation rates.
