This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs in the treatment of low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Perform chart reviews and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Evaluate and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• Be available during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians while upholding Legion’s clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible prescribing protocols.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
• Must hold a Collaborating Psychiatrist designation (MD or DO).
• Possess an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Have current board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management abilities.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Show a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Ability to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, using independent clinical judgment and applicable laws.
• Willingness to accept Legion’s monthly compensation rates for supervisory services.
