This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Perform chart assessments and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, where legally permitted and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians and uphold Legion’s clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing guidelines.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• Provide timely clinical guidance and independent prescribing decisions when legally permissible and clinically appropriate.
• An active, unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with remote care provision and utilization of electronic health record systems.
• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based practice.
• Capacity to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Ability to work part-time remotely within the United States.
