This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Work alongside seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for patients with low- and medium-acuity psychiatric conditions using evidence-based methodologies.
• Perform chart evaluations and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally allowable and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as mandated by relevant state regulations.
• Guide clinicians and uphold Legion’s clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.
• Assist Legion in widening access to high-quality psychiatric services throughout the United States.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in the field of psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort in delivering care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Ability to review and sanction prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Active DEA individual practitioner registration is requested within the application.
• Willingness to accept Legion’s monthly supervisory compensation rates.
