Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Provide clinical supervision remotely for our Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.

• Facilitate quarterly quality assurance meetings via video with each Nurse Practitioner.

• Be available through text/email to respond to inquiries Monday to Friday during business hours, with same-day responses expected.

• Conduct a review of 10% or 20 charts (whichever is less) for each provider monthly.

• Additional supervision of Nurse Practitioners may be requested by the provider based on clinical needs or the complexity of NP practice.

• Complete a brief 1-page Google Document following monthly supervision for each collaborating Nurse Practitioner.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and program guidelines.

• Complete annual training as mandated by the HR department.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD/DO in Psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in Mississippi, with residency in the state.

• At least 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-level practitioners.

• Willingness to supervise a minimum of 4 Nurse Practitioners.

• No malpractice payouts, licensure disciplinary actions, or criminal/professional investigations in the past 5 years.

• Must possess a compact license or be willing to obtain one, or have licenses in multiple states.

• Practice medicine in-person for 20 hours per week or 80 hours per month in Mississippi.
