
Cohesity Consultant – Secret Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Design, implement, configure, and enhance Cohesity backup and recovery solutions.
• Carry out installations, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and health assessments for Cohesity clusters.
• Set up backup policies, replication, archival, disaster recovery, and Instant Mass Restore functionalities.
• Integrate Cohesity solutions with:
• - VMware vSphere
• - Microsoft Hyper-V
• - Windows Server
• - Linux environments
• Conduct backup validation and recovery testing.
• Resolve backup failures, performance problems, and storage utilization issues.
• Implement strategies for ransomware protection and best practices for immutable backups.
• Support Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments along with enterprise storage systems.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, project managers, and governmental stakeholders.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and customer training.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Over 3 years of experience in enterprise backup, storage, or infrastructure.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in implementing and managing Cohesity solutions.
• Experience in supporting:
• - VMware vSphere
• - Windows Server
• - Linux
• - Active Directory
• - SAN/NAS storage environments
• - Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Cohesity Certified Professional (CCP) certification.
• Experience with:
• - Cohesity DataProtect
• - Cohesity Helios
• - HPE storage platforms, such as Alletra, Primera, Nimble, and 3PAR
• - Backup and Recovery Appliance (BURA) environments.
• Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD), federal civilian agencies, or intelligence community settings.
• Familiarity with:
• - Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• - Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• - NIST 800-53 security controls
• - Zero Trust architecture.
• Additional Desired Technical Skills:
• Cohesity DataProtect Administration.
• Enterprise Backup & Recovery.
