This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary technical consultant for designated strategic customer accounts
• Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with customer security teams and leadership
• Comprehend customer security operations workflows, use cases, and business goals
• Provide mentorship to customer teams on SIEM best practices and threat hunting methodologies
• Assist customers in navigating Next-Gen SIEM deployment, configuration, and integration processes
• Enhance data ingestion strategies and configure log sources effectively
• Create and implement custom detection rules, correlation searches, and use cases
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations customized to meet customer needs
• Support the migration of detection content from legacy SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
• Conduct health checks and optimization reviews of the platform
• Resolve complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams as necessary
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators and success metrics
• Identify automation opportunities and workflow enhancements
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base and documentation of best practices
• Over 5 years of experience in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering
• Familiarity with at least one prominent SIEM platform (e.g., Next-Gen SIEM, LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Chronicle)
• Proficiency in query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL, CQL, or similar)
• Experience in detection engineering and the development of correlation rules
• Knowledge of common log sources (Windows, Linux, network devices, cloud platforms)
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) concepts
• Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Strong capabilities in presentation and training delivery
• Self-driven with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
