Coding Quality Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality audits on coding practices in accordance with established coding quality policies and procedures, including compliance with Medicare, CMS, or pay program guidelines, while ensuring adherence to relevant coding practices, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.

• Execute audits based on the daily prioritization set by the quality team and contribute to enhancing the performance of coders across all service lines.

• Evaluate the quality of coder reviews and relay feedback to the quality management team regarding any identified issues.

• Work in partnership with the operations team to maintain awareness of the coding team's performance against key metrics relative to internal coding quality standards.

• Undertake additional job responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

• A minimum of 0-2 years of applicable work experience

• Coding Certification (HCS-D or BCHH-C)

• OASIS Certification (HCS-O)
