This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ The CoC (Chain of Custody) Regional Manager for Affiliates in Western Europe and the Americas is accountable for quality assurance during audits, providing technical support to the assigned affiliates, and executing additional tasks to uphold accreditations.
β’ Assisting in the growth of the CBE timber and paper certification business (primarily FSC/PEFC COC certification and timber due diligence services) within the regions of the designated affiliates (Western Europe and the Americas).
β’ Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the Global Forestry Team to assess shared business development opportunities.
β’ Ensure that COC accreditation standards are integrated into SGS procedures and effectively communicated to the affiliates and auditors.
β’ Offer timely technical support and information to the designated SGS affiliates.
β’ Maintain the FSC Database comprehensively.
β’ Oversee quality management and monitor the performance of SGS delivering affiliates (KPI management).
β’ Participate in accreditation body audits and address any accreditation body CARs as directed by the Accreditation Manager(s).
β’ Tertiary education in Forest Management or Timber Engineering, or a secondary education combined with equivalent professional training and work experience.
β’ FSC COC Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
β’ Professional experience in the timber and/or paper industries.
β’ Audit and commercial experience related to products, including the creation of commercial proposals.
β’ Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, along with developed presentation abilities and an aptitude for interacting effectively with senior government officials and senior management within organizations.
β’ Strong teamwork skills with the capability to work independently without close supervision.
β’ Proficient in computer usage.
β’ Proficiency in English, in addition to local language proficiency, is considered an advantage.
