Cobol Developer, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop software applications in accordance with business requirements, participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

• Conduct analyses, testing, and detail the modifications or enhancements made to the application.

• Diagnose and resolve bugs identified during system operations.

• Facilitate the necessary data transfer between various applications.

• Evaluate systems and create applications aimed at improving system quality.

• Ensure the application operates efficiently.

• Introduce new features to enhance functionality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from a technical discipline.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in COBOL programming.

• Proficient with Mainframe, JCL, and DB2.

• Experience in proposing and designing technical solutions.

• Skilled in creating technical specifications.

• Background in drafting and implementing test plans.

• Strong command of English.

• Proficient in French.
