Co-Founder – CTO, AI PropTech for Municipal Approvals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the company's foundational product and technical infrastructure.

• Create dependable systems for operational workflows that require high trust.

• Guide the technical strategy across infrastructure, AI solutions, and application design.

• Collaborate directly with design partners to influence product direction and workflow architecture.

• Set engineering standards that focus on reliability, auditability, and explainability.

• Recruit and manage the founding engineering team.

• Work closely with the CEO on fundraising initiatives and overall company strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering production-quality software systems in contexts where outputs have operational or business implications.

• Strong technical acumen in modern AI systems, data pipelines, workflow software, and secure SaaS architecture.

• Ability to understand the trade-offs between automation, reliability, and human oversight.

• Thrives on solving complex systems challenges with a sense of ownership.

• Aspires to build as a founder rather than functioning solely as an employee.

• Strongly preferred:

• Previous startup or founder experience.

• Experience in PropTech, AEC, GovTech, legal tech, fintech, or other high-trust workflow sectors.

• Background in developing systems related to document understanding, workflow orchestration, or operational intelligence.
