CNC Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Traveling to client locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for various organizations.

• Utilizing online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to investigate machine-related issues.

• Ensuring precise documentation is completed and delivered to both the office and customers regarding the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations.

• Promoting and executing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment, along with providing after-sales technical support and training.

• Holding and continuously updating a comprehensive understanding of the machine tool industry and the product lines represented by the company.

• Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is included in the onboarding process, with factory certification expected within the first year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering is preferred.

• Background in CNC repair is advantageous.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics is essential.

• Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office is beneficial.

• Exceptional technical, communication, and presentation skills are required.

• The CNC Technician must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting 40-50 pounds.

• This role necessitates flexible hours and frequent travel and driving within a regional territory.
